For more great information, photos and video about Samoa, see PleaseTakeMeTo's Samoa Travel Guide - www.pleasetakemeto.com Samoa is a collection of ten idyllic tropical islands situated in the South Pacific. It is easily accessible by plane from either Australia or New Zealand. Once you land in Samoa visitors will be transported to another world where the weather is warm and tropical all year round and the locals have a very friendly, relaxed style of life, far removed from the hectic bustle of modern Cities. Upulu and Savaii are the two major islands in the group where the majority of Samoas standout attractions can be found. These are typified by stunning jungle mountain ranges, plunging waterfalls, ancient volcanoes and sweeping beaches bordered by coral reefs and clear sparkling water. Beach Fales are a traditional and extremely common type of room to stay in and are almost always situated right on the beach. Other resorts offer typical western styles of luxury accommodation. Samoa is offers excellent value for money and is an ideal choice if you wish to relax in tropical paradise.
Eastmancolor 21 mins. 35mm 1900 ft. In the South Pacific Islands of Western Samoa, Polynesian inhabitants have, with New Zealand aid, assumed control of their own affairs, and Western Samoa is the first United Nations Trust Territory to achieve internal self -government. The film shows early morning scenes in the village; tribal elders in traditional council; children singing in school; women roofing a house. Daily work includes the shipping of exports - copra, cocoa and bananas. Samoa is a place of colourful ceremony, and the film closes with a gathering of Samoan people at their ancient capital of Mulinu'u and with children dancing under the palms. betasp telecine from faded 35mm prints

My second ever Youtube video is my tribute to one of my favourite Mixed Martial Artists of all time, the "Super Samoan" Mark Hunt. Once again I am hungover whilst putting a video together together (and I now also have a 1 year old daughter to look after) so a few of the fades/transitions are sloppy or non-existent. I am also well aware of the amount of zooming text in this video, but hey, I like it. I own none of the copyright in this video. If anyone from Zuffa is reading this all I can say is I love the UFC and I've been a fan for years. I subscribe to ESPN purely to watch your shows. No infringement intended, just a big fan wanting to show his appreciation. Anyway let's get Mark a title shot at UFC 146! #rallyformarkhunt PS I am honestly ashamed of myself for the whole "it's" fiasco. My only excuse is my over-reliance on the auto correct feature in MS Word.
