In a battle of relegation match, both Doncaster and Portsmouth need to win the game to maintain their hope of staying in the Championship. Doncaster lead 2-0 surprisingly in the first 5 mins and should score the 3rd goal after their shot hit the crossbar. However, in the 2nd half, the game turns around. Habib Beye fouled Dave Kitson at the edge of the box and got sent off. Portsmouth scored a penalty. And they got another one after their shot is deflected and called handball inside the box. Then 10-men Donny fought back and scored again to lead 3-2. In the last minute, here comes another controversy. Portsmouth scored the equaliser after Dave Kitson used his hand pushing the ball into the back of the net. And Pompey got their all 3 points in the injury time after Marko Futacs hit the winner in a dramatic thrilling 4-3 victory and sent Doncaster back to League one. Portsmouth still have a glimpse of hope to stay alive in the Championship next season but only just.....
