Los Angeles-based Mere Mortals' new single "Heart Burn Heart" directed by Rob Sonner. MERE MORTALS is a Los Angeles-based, 4-piece that draws from psychedelic, British and Krautrock influences. The band is compromised of German-born, London-dwelling vocalist/guitarist Axel Steuerwald, Japanese bassist Mimi Star, drummer/spiritual-advisor Todd Demma and Jason O. on guitar/vocals. MERE MORTALS' sound lies somewhere between the pscyh/pop sounds of Oasis, The Jesus And Mary Chain and Primal Scream mixed with elements of CAN and Neu.
