This is a very short comparison of the Canon XA10 and the Sony HDR-CX700 concerning their lowlight abilities. BTW: The Canon XA10 uses the same sensor like the HF G10 and the XF100. The Sony CX-690 and the CX-700 have the same video chip. Results should be the same for each model (XA10 = HF G10 = XF100; CX-700 = CX-690)..
