I'm just replaying the game I beat almost 14 years ago, the first Bomberman game on a Nintendo system, with that God-sent power up that had me easily owning the competition. And I even waited for those coin freaks to come out by the numbers when the remaining time turns to 0 (they are the fastest and deadliest enemies in the game). The ending of this game shows a positive business relationship between Hudson Soft and Broderbund Software.

Bomberman! Hudson's wonderfull bomb deathmatch fest from anything from to to 12 players, dependig on wich version you were lucky to own. to begin, 1993 SNES debut, Super Bomberman, the reason why a multitap was an essencial acessory. Fortunatly, from SNES onwards, N64, GameCube and Wii already have have 4 player support by default, so I never needed a multiptap again.
