Pre-Macross Zero documentary of the history of the Macross timelines. This should help people confused about Macross. Also the Original Macross tv series was the basis for the frist 36 episodes of American tv's Robotech. The other 50 or so episodes were made up from two other unrelated animes. I felt this was a needed vid as it's not "yet another macross op version we've seen 10 times already". (rolls eyes) Note, I did not make this but found it and searched all entries to make sure no one posted this yet. So enjoy! Also note that while comments are allowed, please keep them in check as this is a post of an official documentary not widely known that westerners should get to see more of...
This is my very fisrt attemtp at a music video. I'm still learning to use all the options for this program. The video is from Macross the TV series and the sound track is from Macross : The Tribute as sung by Yoshiki Fukuyama as Nekki Basara.

*UPDATE* See here for an updated quality version: www.youtube.com www.animemusicvideos.org Anime used: Super Dimension Fortress Macross SDF Macross: Do You Remember Love? Macross Plus (Movie) Macross 7; Encore; The Galaxy is Calling Me Macross Dynamite 7 Macross M3 (Game) Macross Zero Macross Frontier Song used: Macross, by Nekki Basara (Yoshiki Fukuyama) (DTXmania version from: www.youtube.com ) This is by far the most extensively I have worked on an AMV. I've used pretty much all the canonical Macross animated works, excluding Macross II since it was retconned to take place in an alternate universe. More importantly perhaps, I dont have the OVA on hand and I've never seen it. This video is the culmination of nearly a week of work, and while admittedly the quality isnt as good as it could have been, any critique and comments would be immensely appreciated.
