In this episode we show you how to create your own pair of Hover shoes which will allow you to "float" over any predominantly metal base. In the video we use the garage since it has metal beams embedded in the concrete but you could do this wherever you find a strong metal flooring. You need: 1. Soldering Iron 2. Solder 3. Wire 4. Shoes 5. 50 lb lift magnets 6. 2 9v batteries 7. Glue Gun The 9v battery will turn the standard magnet into an electro-magnet giving it more lift for a small duration of time. Enjoy!Disclaimer: As with this experiment and all other HouseHold Hacker videos. We cannot be held responsible for damage or mistakes made if attempting the experiments. These projects are for demonstration purposes only and should not be attempted at home.

It's actually the combination of fish and rice -- and how it's combined is an art form in itself. To complete this How-To you will need: At least a quarter-pound of trimmed, uncooked saltwater fish A sharp knife A cutting board A dollop of prepared wasabi A bowl of water Some ice or a refrigerator (optional) Step 1: Slice fish With a very sharp knife, slice the trimmed fish slab into individual portions so each piece is a rectangle approximately 2-inches long and ¼-inch thick. Tip: To make things easier, cut all your fish at one time, but keep the pieces cold until you use them —put them on a plate and keep it in the refrigerator or on top of some ice. Step 2: Roll rice into ball Moisten your hands with water from your bowl, and scoop an ounce of sushi rice—about the amount that will fit into your palm—and roll it into a ball. Step 3: Shape rice ball Shape the rice ball into an oblong by squeezing it with firm but gentle pressure. Tip: Your rice should be about the same size as your cut piece of fish. Step 4: Dab wasabi on fish Pick up a piece of sliced fish. While ...

It can be used for all different purposes including: drawing, OS navigation, multitouch operation, games, entertainment, experimentation, and more. I created the Multitouch Mini to show people how something that seems complicated or 'magical' can be made simply and at low cost. -How's it Work?- -------------------------------------- When you place your fingers on the surface, shadows are created where your fingers are placed. The webcam sees these shadows and sends the image to the tracking software which tracks the shadows as they move on the touch surface (paper). All you need is a room with (at least) some light; a dark room will not work. Even room lighting gives the best results. Lights shinning from multiple directions onto the multitouch pad gives better results than lights from one direction. Explains how to turn a piece of printer paper into an origami crane. It involves some new and advanced folds which I go through step by step on how to perform. Hope you enjoy! Traditionally, the Japanese crane is expanded at the very end, although I usually prefer not to do this. To do this, you can perform the following: 1) Just grab each wing and pull them gently apart until the middle part inflates or expands, or 2) try blowing on the bottom of the crane to inflate it that way (doesn't work as well for me). NOTE: This is NOT an action model, meaning it does NOT FLAP, nor is it supposed to. To make a FLAPPING BIRD please see the link below*** Want to make a BIRD THAT FLAPS??
