Broadcasted version (with overdub): www.youtube.com Unbroadcasted version (without overdub): www.youtube.com As some of you may know, Uudam is a contestant in China's Got Talent who has been making an uproar around the world because of the Mongolian folk song which was dedicated to his deceased parents who died when he was eight. Why uproar? you may ask, well it was found out that the voice that was broadcast on television was not Uudam's real voice but the voice of child singer Baator Dorji / Baatar Dorje . The reason being was that Uudam sung this song in an Outer Mongolian dialect while the original song was sung in the Inner Mongolian Dialect in China. Questions to ask Why did they have to overdub a young 12 year old's voice that he sung with all his heart and soul due to his dialect? Why was this kind of stint used when it would be eventually found out? Similar to the Lin Miaoke and Yang Peiyi incident in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Things to notice in this video: - Theres an applause when he starts to sing - The vocals and the song are lowered down - When both voices overlap at the end of this video you notice that Uudam's side has an applause while he doesn't Lyrics: The world is vast and boundless. All quietness It recalls to my mind That mother was praying She was praying for me Offering milk from the heavens she also looks into the distance a place in the distance my mother is in the distance.
